Hello and welcome to the articy:draft X Basics tutorial series. In this lesson we will take a quick look at articy’s advanced configuration options.

As the name suggests these options are mainly for advanced customization, so as a beginner you might not need to access them at all. However, in case you’d like to use AI extensions or DeepL auto-translation, you will need to make some adjustments to the configuration file, this is why we want to make you aware of its existence with this short lesson.

DeepL Translation

You can find the configuration file by copying %appdata%\Articy Software\articy\4.x and pasting it in your Explorer. The articy.cfg file can be opened with any text editor.

Articy.cfg

The configuration file lets you customize different aspects of your articy experience with a number of optional commands. Please check out the configuration Help Center entry with more info on how to utilize the configuration file and a list of all available commands.
