At Articy we value the health and well-being of our employees, partners and the interactive storytelling community worldwide. As the COVID-19 situation continues to unfold, we are doing our best to support the storytellers and game creators as we navigate together through these challenging times. In this crisis we want to make it easier and painless for everyone who wants to access and work with articy:draft 3. As such, we are transforming our initial 2 weeks trial into a completely free and fully featured 90 days license and adding 3 additional temporary floating licenses to our bundles and existing multi-user accounts.
When Articy switched to full home office on March 13th, we all had an all-around reminder of how important tools and collaboration features can be when absolutely everything is done remote on long term. No more quick questions or explaining things face to face, no more working on the same PCs or sharing resources, everything needs to be properly setup on everyone’s computer at home and it has to be easy to use. We quickly realized that interactive storytellers out there must be going through similar or even more severe struggles. So as we deemed ourselves lucky to still be able to continue our activity, we counted our blessings and quickly moved on to brainstorming about what we can do on our side to encourage everyone to #flattenthecurve and at the same time help make the transition easier. What follows is the end result of that brainstorming and we sincerely hope it will be of help.
Starting today, we are offering the following additions and upgrades that we believe all game writers and narrative designers who need a collaboration-ready narrative tool can benefit from:
The Temporary License
Our former 2 weeks Trial is now upgraded to a completely FREE temporary license valid for 90 days. The temporary license is fully featured and you don’t need to enter any payment details to access it. All you have to do is register on our website with your name and email address.
The articy:server (multi user) temprorary license can accommodate
- Up to 13 users (10 multi user + 3 floating licenses)
- Up to 10 viewers
- The articy:API
Extra 3 floating licenses for multi-user packages all around.
Whether you’ve purchased or subscribed for a multi-user license in the past or you’re planning to buy a Multi User Bundle in the near future, until June 1st 2020 you will be able to make use of 3 additional floating licenses at no extra charge. Floating licenses are dynamically assigned upon log-in. Users logging in will claim licenses from the pool and return them when they log out. On June 1st, the additional temporary floating licenses will be cancelled automatically to avoid any charges, you do not need to cancel or do anything on your side.
