Link locks/keys visually on a location map

It would be very useful to have a way to visually link a lock(door etc) with the key (item required etc) required to open it-
Right now the best we can do is something like this through naming and perhaps drawing a line but its a clunky solution

What would be very useful would be the ability to tag/identify a "lock" and the corresponding "key" for that "lock"
On clicking/hovering the lock or the key it would highlight or draw a line to its counterpart lock or key.
For example if I hover or click the lock it would show me the key through highlighting or some other technique-
