Hi, I'm going to be using this program to develop my D&D campaign but snapping objects to a grid is vital to avoid frustrating over every little line as I'll be using a battle map.

Is there any way to do this and if not would it be able to be implemented?

I just came to ask this same question. I imagine it could be done with a plugin but would be nice if it already existed!
