Condition search bug

While this is a contrived example, this bug affects our ability to search for many things..
In a condition node with the text "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz(aabbccddeeff)", the "aabbccddeeff" is searchable.
But in a condition node with the text "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz(aabbccddeeffg)" which has an added "g", the "aabbccddeeffg" or any substring of that length 10 or more CANNOT be searched.
I don't believe special characters such as quotation marks affect the bug, it seems to be hitting a character limit somewhere.
Any help would be appreciated.
