I am trying to build an export utility using the Articy API. I am following the instructions found in the Articy API Programmers Guide. When I attempt to run the sample application, I get an error stating that it cannot find the Articy.trd file in my executable's path. I found a file with the same file name in the API distribution folder (API\bix86\texts). Yet, even after copying this file to my executable path, I still receive the error. The programmers guide does not mention anything about this. Is there something I am missing?

You should output your executeable into the api binary distribution folder and start from there.
All files and folders within are requrired for a stand-alone start.
