This seems like such a basic function I must be overlooking it. What I would like to do is add a table of information to a template but none of the property types seem to have this function. Has anyone successfully created a table property?

Unfortunately there's no table property right now, but the feature has a very high priority on our roadmap. I can't give you an exact date when this will be implemented, but we are absolutely aware of the fact that tables are important for a lot of things.
If you could describe your use case a bit more, I could try to think of a work-around solution for your problem.
