Can I view local changes?

I ran a custom plugin to make changes in batches, and now I would like to see what changes it made. When I hit publish, the changelist gets populated with some changes, but I don't want to publish, I want to see these things and change some back. Is there a way to do this?

I couldn't figure out how to do this either. By the lack of responses, I guess not. Could this be added as a feature at some point by any chance?
