[BUG] Fake compilation error breaking import

Thu 29. Jun 2017, 12:24

We have "compilation error" (http://take.ms/bZR67) error duting importing big project (>300k words) with lots of packages into Unity. Here is no any actuall errors on console window. If we removing 1-4 packages from export - all work fine. If we export this 1-4 packages separately - all work fine. This behaviour has 100% reproducability but every time with different conditions about checking/unchecking packages duting export. You can find unity log file here https://ufile.io/zuibh

Hi misterionkell,

i have to admit ... i never tried that many packages, but i'm currently building a test case for it. :)
Also your screenshot shown another problem with the whole window, as it seems it takes all the place available just for the packages, and this might be the reason why the database view gets slow in the first place.
Seems i have to fix whats causing the false compiliation error and also add a scroll viewer for the packages. :)

Thank you for reporting!

best regards

Thank you Nico. Is here is any kind of information about fix this? This issue broke our cycle of submission of translations (each package is a separate Chapter of the game and a separate unit for translation). We are ready to help you any way - from testing dev builds of articy plugin to helps with writing code.

At the moment i'm building a testcase my own trying to reproduce your reported issues.
One help would be if you could send me your projects export file(+ localization) by email, so i have your exact data to search for the issue.

Nevertheless i first have to get them to reproduce and then try to find the cause of that. Luckily i have time to focus on those bugs as there is currently nothing important i have to attend to first.

Hi,

besides what we have discussed via PM, i was fixing some underyling issues with the way the database is cloned at runtime, as that was a severe issue.
The last open issue you reported, that the false positive message box pops up is still open but the next on my list.
I hope to finalize that soon.

Best regards
