The "Library" tab




Clicking on the library tab 1 changes the navigator view into a quick access area for often used articy:draft objects. Clicking on one of the library type tabs brings up an automatically assembled list of 2 Assets, 3Entities, 4 Favorites, or 5 Locations.

The elements, listed can be dragged into the content area on the right side or onto any other articy:draft window or pane.

Double-clicking a library element with the left mouse button directly displays the elment in the content area using its standard view.

The textbox 6 can be used to filter the library by display name. For example entering "item" in this filter box only shows those library elements, that have item somewhere in their display name.


Favorites

You can set Favorites to have easy access to objects that are important to you.
Favorite selected objects or folders with hotkey F9 or with the 7 right-click context menu. You can set Favorites from the Navigator, the Flow, or the Content browser.



Find and access all your Favorites in the 8 Favorites folder of the 9 library tab.



Favorites are highlighted in yellow in the Navigator, the Flow, and the Content browser.



When accessing a favorited folder a double-click opens the folder contents in the 11 Favorites folder, CTRL + double-click opens its contents in the 10 Content browser.



When navigating folders inside Favorites additional navigation is available. 12 Back to Favorites, to immediately jump back to the top Favorites level, and 13 Up to emerge from the current folder and go up one level

To change the highlight color, or disable highlighting in a certain view or altogether you can use the following commands within the articy.cfg:
-Fav.OutlineColor #00FF00

-Fav.HighlightInNavigator false

-Fav.HighlightInFlow false

-Fav.HighlightInContentBrowser false

Defaults are yellow and true for all. If you want to learn more about the articy configuration file and more commands to customize certain articy:draft settings, check the Advanced Configuration entry.
You can remove favorites with the hotkey SHIFT + F9 or from the 14 right-click context menu.
