AI assisted Preview Image

For prototyping, playing around with ideas, or easily conveying a visual to the team, the AI assisted preview images can be a good starting point.

Preview images can be created for Flow objects, that can have preview images (Dialogue nodes and Flow Fragments) and for Entities.
Select a Flow object or an Entity 1. Right click the object and select “AI assisted preview image” 2.

The AI Helper for preview images window opens. It comes with a Settings button 3, the preview area, where the images are displayed 4, and the text field for your prompt 5.

The Settings menu for AI assisted preview images comes with the following options:
6 Size: Size selection – 256x256, 512x512, or 1024x1024 pixels.
7 Amount of images: How many images do you want as a selection choice? One can be chosen as the preview image.
8 Folder for new asset: The asset that articy:draft creates for the preview image is saved to this folder.
9 Naming convention for new asset: Name for the new asset. Default adds the Technical Name to a prefix.

Enter your prompt 10. If your object has text in the text field (Dialogue node, Flow Fragment) or the description field (Entity) this text will be automatically copied to the prompt field. You can use it as a basis and further tweak the prompt. Finish with “Enter” or by clicking the Start button 11.

If you are happy with the output, click the checkmark 12 of the desired image to generate the asset and set it as the preview image for the selected object. If not, you can tweak your prompt and try again.
