The Plugin Manager

The Plugin Manager is a new addition to articy:draft X and serves as an easy to use hub to activate / deactivate plugins as needed, keep the overview about what plugins are installed, and install additional custom plugins.

Open the Plugin Manager via the Master Toolbar 1.

You can open the Plugin Manager in the Welcome Screen or inside of a project, but you can only make changes to plugins – activate or deactivate them – when you opened the Plugin Manager from the Welcome Screen. When in a project, you can check the state of your plugins, but cannot make changes!

2: General info area. Here you can see at a quick glance how many plugins are installed, if there are updates available, or if any conflicts appeared.
3: This area holds all information about a plugin. Its name, a short description about its function, and further technical info (click to expand). If the plugin entry shows “by Articy” it means this is an official plugin with a signature.
4: Plugin icon and Active / Inactive toggle (Changing toggle setting is only possible when not in a project).
MULTI-USER If you are a Server-Admin and are looking to disable plugins for all users please check the articy:server advanced configuration options.
5: Deactivated plugins are shown with a slightly darker background.
6: Here you can install custom plugins from a file or an http address.
7: Plugin states
